Forty-five seconds of waves
Targets appear in waves, two to six at a time, and cross the screen following a pattern. You hit them by clicking or tapping. There are no lives and no elimination: at the end, whoever scored most wins.
The waves get denser as the match goes on — at the start they arrive spaced out, by the end there is always something on screen.
The patterns
- Line, left to right or the reverse — the easiest to track.
- Wave, rising and falling as it crosses. The target is always where you did not aim.
- Circle, the slowest pattern and the longest: it is worth more screen time, and it is where you can clear a whole wave.
About 40% of waves are born at the back, smaller and harder to hit, and the rest at the front.
The golden ones
Roughly one target in nine is golden and worth considerably more. They are the reason it is not worth shooting at everything that moves: letting an ordinary target go to secure a golden one is almost always the right arithmetic.
Controls
- Computer: click the target.
- Phone: tap.
This is one of the few games here where a mouse has a real advantage over a finger — fine aim on a small target is its home ground.
