About Arcade Zone
Arcade Zone is a platform of multiplayer mini-games that runs in your browser, for free, on a computer or a phone. You open it, create a room, send the link to a friend, and seconds later you are both playing — no app to install and no mandatory account.
Play nowWho builds it
It is an independent project maintained by one person: a Brazilian student of Systems Analysis and Development. All of the code — the site, the server and the 50 games — was written for this project. It is not a licensed game pack and not a collection of third-party embeds.
What you can do here
- Play in real time with friends or against bots, in rooms of up to four.
- Switch games without breaking up the group — the room survives between matches.
- Arcade Mode: a sequence of mini-games with a running score and a final podium.
- Cosmetic progression: coins by placement, a shop of colours and accessories, a 3D character, daily and weekly challenges, and a trophy ranking.
- Play without signing up: guest mode is complete. An account exists so your progress survives changing devices.
How it is built
The site is an Angular application; the server is Node with Socket.IO and keeps match state in memory, which is what allows real-time play without database latency. The stated technical goal is to run on weak phones and weak connections: cosmetics are drawn as geometry rather than heavy textures, and every game screen is measured to fit without scrolling.
How the project pays for itself
Playing is free and stays free. The site shows ads, and it only loads the advertising script after you decide in the cookie notice — before that, no advertising third party is contacted at all. The details are in the privacy policy (in Portuguese, which is the official version).
The chips used in the table games (poker, roulette) are not bought and not exchanged for money: they start equal for everyone at the beginning of a match, are worth something only inside it, and never turn into a prize. There is no wagering of value in any game on this site.
A note on language
Arcade Zone is made in Brazil and its interface speaks five languages. These English pages describe the games; the terms of use and the privacy policy are published in Portuguese only, because the Portuguese text is the official one — keeping a second legal document in sync is a good way to end up with two that disagree.
