🌈 Neon Sequence

Memorise the colour sequence and play it back. It grows by one colour every round — and whoever gets it wrong or takes too long is out.

How a round works

The game plays the whole sequence, one colour at a time, then opens input. You reproduce it in the same order. Get it all right and you advance; get one wrong and you are out.

The sequence grows by one colour per round, and the earlier part never changes — it is always the same list with one new item at the end. That is what makes it get hard in a way that feels fair: you are never forced to relearn anything, only to remember one more.

Everyone plays at once

This is not turn-based. The same sequence is shown to everyone and everyone reproduces it simultaneously, each on their own grid. Anyone who does not finish within the window is eliminated too, so hesitating costs the same as being wrong.

The window grows with the sequence, but not proportionally — with ten colours in the list, stopping to think halfway is already too late.

The match has a ceiling

If anyone survives to round 14, the match ends there and the ranking comes from who is still standing. It is a generous limit: fourteen colours in order is well beyond what most people reach.

Against the bot

The bot's chance of getting it right falls every round — it starts nearly infallible and grows shakier as the list grows, with a floor around 45%. In other words: you do not beat the bot in round one, you beat it in round six.
