💎 Follow the Gem
The cards show their value, flip over and shuffle in front of you. Follow the gem with your eyes — and be the first to grab it, because each card has exactly one owner.

Tracking, not hoping
Five cards show what they are worth, flip face down, and then swap places in front of everyone. When they stop, the choice opens: you tap the card you think is the good one.
The choice is exclusive — first to tap keeps the card. So knowing where the gem stopped is not enough: you have to get there first.
The difficulty climbs
The first round has four swaps, slow enough to follow comfortably. The last has eight, at nearly double the speed. It is the same exercise becoming progressively impossible to do on autopilot.
The server decides when the choice opens
The swap plan is generated on the server, applied there so it knows the truth, and it is the server that opens the choice window. Your browser does not count the time on its own.
That sounds like a detail and is not: if each client counted, a worse connection would open the choice later and that player would start out losing — in a game where the first tap takes the card.
Why the game was rebuilt
The previous version was 'pick a card and hope': a lottery with a button on top, with no decision inside it. Visual tracking kept the card format and gave back what was missing — a skill you can actually exercise and improve.
