One emoji in the grid is different from the others. Find it first — and do not be wrong, because a mistake locks you for a second and a half.

Thirty-five the same, one different
The grid has 36 squares: 35 with the same emoji and one with its visual twin — 😺 among 😸, 🌝 among 🌚, ⭐ among 🌟. First to tap the odd one scores the point and the round ends. There are five rounds.
The pairs are chosen to be genuinely similar. It is not 'find the red one among the blue ones': it is the same shape with one small difference, and that is what makes the search take seconds instead of an instant.
The penalty is what creates strategy
Tapping the wrong cell locks you for a second and a half. In a game where a round usually lasts a few seconds, that lock normally costs you the whole round.
So the question is not 'where is it' but 'am I sure enough to tap'. Guessing in a promising area is the fastest way to lose — and the most common.
How to sweep
- Sweeping by row is faster than by column for most people.
- The eye catches a difference in outline before it catches a difference in colour — slightly unfocusing your vision often reveals the intruder.
- After a round, the pair changes. Memorising where it was is worthless.
Against the bot
The bot answers in 1.4 to 4 seconds, and deliberately gets it wrong about 15% of the time — which costs it the same second-and-a-half lock. It is beatable, but it is not slow.
